Malam Sulaiman Ilu Ahmad

Malam Sulaiman Ilu Ahmad is a veteran financial and management professional with over 40 years of experience across public and private sectors in Nigeria. A 1977 graduate of B.Sc. Business Administration (Actuarial Science) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, he also trained at the Irish Management Institute in Dublin, South West London College, and the London School of Accountancy.

He began his career at the New Nigeria Development Company (NNDC) and later served at Kano State Investment and Properties Ltd (KSIP), where he oversaw several subsidiaries. He was General Manager/CEO of KASOAP—then the largest oil mill in West Africa—and later Director General of KACCIMA.

Malam Sulaiman has held board positions in numerous private and multinational companies and served on high-level government committees, including the National TCPC (that established the Nigerian Airports Authority), Vision 20:2020 (Labour Sub-committee), and the National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan (NIIMP).

He is a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and remains active in community development and business consultancy.
